Recently, I received a call from Motorola. I was told that Motorola was giving out an award to students who strived in their studies. The award was called "Motorola Gold Award". When hearing that, I was quite surprised and wondered whether it was true or not. The woman over the phone explained further and finally I was convinced. I was quite overwhelmed by the offer she talked about but everything went off after she said "Hmm...Then, we can't offer you already...". Below is my conversation with her.
"Hello, I am calling from Motorola... I would like to inform you that Motorola is giving out an award to students...it is called the Motorola Gold Award..."
"With that, YOU will be receiving a total of RM6000 and the award will be presented during YOUR convocation..."
"Wow, thank you very much!"
"Haha!"
Then comes the TWIST...
"Besides the cash prize, we will also offer you a job opportunity in Motorola..."
"Oic...but...job?"
"Ya, when receiving the award, you will be automatically hired and work in Motorola"
"O...but I was offered a job and I accepted their offer already"
"Hmm...Then, we can't offer you already"
